WARDROBE ESSENTIAL FOR AUTUMN/WINTER 09: SUEDE BOOTS

This summer has been all about showing off with statement shoes, and the trend continues into autumn/winter with boastful boots. Alberta Ferretti and Chloe lead the way and introduced suede into their collections, as the must-have material for next season’s footwear. Emilio Pucci teamed signature print dresses with green and grey shades. Shoe God, Christian Louboutin has a number of new to-die-for designs such as hidden double platforms and cute booties, in; you’ve guessed it, suede! It’s a fabric we won’t be able to avoid these coming months.

Thigh high and little, suede ankle boots went up and down the runway and onto our wish lists. Our Suede Effect Fringe Detail Boots £36.00 are set to arrive in August/September, and will be the perfect transition piece taking you from the bohemian, folk trends of summer into a more edgy winter.

Fringing has been a favourite for designers and celebrities this spring/summer; Jil Sander, Alexander McQueen and Louis Vuitton, to name but a few. Lovers of the trend include ‘boho’ Queen Misha Barton and ‘The Hills’ star, turned fashion designer Lauren Conrad. Dresses, skirts, shoes and bags have all seen fringe detailing. And the trend is not over yet. These fringed boots will take you through the summer months, teamed with a feminine dress and into winter with opaque tights or skinny trousers.

Leather leggings are set to be a hit this winter with Hermes and Tory Burch both incorporating them into their next collections. Stella McCartney has even created her own faux leather versions, for those that share her vegan morals. This is another great trend to complement your fringed, suede effect boots and get the look nailed!

Be on trend with other products such as our Embellished Brown Handbag with Long Fringe Detailing Sale was £24.00 now £17.99 and Grey Suede Effect Fringe Detail Handbag £19.99.
