THE QUEENS DIAMOND JUBILEE CELEBRATED IN FASHION

The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee is a major event this year and everybody wants to be involved. And what better way to celebrate the Queen than with Luxury and style. Fashion retailers and designers are honouring her Majesty on their own ways; Nicolas Kirkwood, the British shoe designer is creating a one of a kind pair of high heel shoes, covered with red an white Swarovski crystals, an extravagant design to celebrate the Queen’s 60th reign anniversary.  The shoes will be on display in Kirkwood Store in London starting June 2nd.

On the other hand, Vivienne Westwood will soon release a capsule collection inspired by all the Queen’s styles and looks. After her latest range celebrating the iconic British Flag, entitled the Red Carpet the designer is honouring her Majesty with gowns inspired by outfits previously worn by the royalty.

Fashion retailers have also devoted their stores and displays in honouring the Queen, Harrods for example commissioned his designers from the world of fashion, beauty, jewellery, etc... to each create a crown in her Majesty’s honour.

Many British designers are getting involved to mark this event and show respect and love to the Queen.
