MARTIN MARGIELA MEETS H&M THIS FALL

The avant-garde Paris based fashion label Maison Martin Margiela is teaming up with H&M to create a womenswear and menswear autumn/winter 2012 collection to be launched on November the 15th in 230 stores around the world.

The brand known for its white label, structured pieces will carry on its own signature giving H&M customers the chance to explore the label’s true spirit.

Margareta van den Bosch, creative advisor at H&M, stated on the official H&M website: "Maison Martin Margiela is one of the most important and influential fashion houses of the past three decades. I am so excited by this collaboration, which will give fashion lovers around the world the chance to wear special pieces by Maison Martin Margiela. This collaboration will be a great and memorable fashion moment.” While the Maison also revealed to GQ.com: “We will bring together the contrasting universes of the two houses in ways that will surprise us all."

The collection expected mid November, will contain both garments and accessories for men and women. An important fashion merger, one of the numerous previous successful collaborations by H&M featuring Marni, Versace, Lanvin, Karl Lagerfeld etc.
