Following Marc Jacobs’s revelation about his new upcoming cosmetic line, it is now time for the iconic Louboutin to get himself involved into beauty and make up products too.
After a successful career in shoes, started in 1991 when he opened a Paris shoe salon in 1991 with Princess Caroline of Monaco as his first customer, and 20 years later, Christian Louboutin is now setting himself a new goal to launch a cosmetic line. From the same guy who once used nail polish to paint the soles of his first creations, it is now about time to be the creator of nail polish and other products. In collaboration with Battalure Beauty LLC, the line will be named after Christian Louboutin himself and set to be launched in late 2013.
Who would have said that one day, ladies, we will be able to match our nails and shoes with Louboutin products? It will soon become a fact with nothing less than a unique and glamorous set of beauty and nail products signed by Christian Louboutin’s sense of style and luxury.
The partners have given no more details, and while we wait, we can always hope for nothing less than something different, creative and a little more affordable than a pair of the legendary red soles.
