ESTEE LAUDER TRANSFORMING BUILDINGS

I have never been able to walk past Selfridges without giving its shiny windows a long wistful stare, but now that the famous London building is all lit up in sparkly pink, I imagine no one would be capable of not noticing it.

Our favourite department store is just one of the buildings that are given a touch of pink to support Estee Lauder’s Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign. Since this is the 20th anniversary of the campaign, the big brand is celebrating by giving 200 famous buildings a pink make-over, including the Empire State Building in New York.

The well-known skyscraper got its new appeal recently when Elizabeth Hurley, as an active breast cancer awareness campaigner, visited the Big Apple to turn on the lights. The English beauty, who is also Estee Lauder’s Dream Lip collection muse, was, of course, in a bright pink knee-length dress which complemented her curves. The 47-year-old actress finished her look with beige high heel shoes and her signature brunette locks.
